Uncharted Justice: Public international law tools in uncertain times

On 3 October 2024, the vibrant city of Tallinn hosted the inaugural Tallinn Arbitration Day, an event organized by the Estonian Arbitration Association. This gathering brought together a diverse group of legal professionals, academics, and policymakers to discuss pressing issues in the field of arbitration. Anastasiya Ugale joined a panel of esteemed colleagues to explore the topic of Uncharted Justice: Public International Law Tools in Uncertain Times. Anastasiya's presentation focused on the use of Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) and other international arbitration and litigation tools to protect investors and their assets in the context of an ongoing war in Ukraine.
