We are delighted to share that Anastasiya Ugale participated in the panel discussion on New Work - Tech, Platform & AI at the fourth Women in Law Conference in Vienna on 14-16 September 2023. The conference was organized by The Women in Law Initiative in partnership with Alix Frank Rechtsanwälte GmbH, and brought together leading female lawyers, academics, and entrepreneurs from around the world.
The panel discussion focused on the impact of technology, platform economy, and artificial intelligence on the legal profession and the society at large. Anastasiya Ugale shared her insights and experience on how legal tech tools can enhance the efficiency, quality, and accessibility of legal services. She also made a presentation of the innovative products developed by One Joule LLC and Jus Mundi, such as ex.CITE and Jus Mundi's proprietary legal research platform.
The co-panelists were Tamara Kraljic, counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP; Eva Bognar, international employment law expert and head of the labor law practice of Lakatos Köves and Partners, the leading independent Hungarian law firm; Katharina Körber-Risak, the founder and partner of Körber-Risak Rechtsanwalts GmbH; and Tadala Chinkwezule, a Justitia Award Laureate 2022 and a human rights lawyer in Malawi.
